this poor person got jacked, they tried to save a bunch of money but in the end spent much more than it was worth
this actually isn't that bad, it gets much much worse, sometimes these sites rip off your credit card and charge you like crazy for things you will never get =( that sucks
a lot of these sites have dns owned and operated out of china, but the hosting is actually in the united states somewhere, often hosted on budget virtual hosting, one i found recently was hosted at a place called krypt.com, bad krypt! for letting this happen! *smack!!*
this problem is plaging the industry, not just my company, but many others too, look around for cheap true religion jeans, or cheap bebe, or cheap any other popular brand, you'll find tons of fakes out there. what's really sad is that google is accepting moneys from these counterfeit sellers, and posting their ads in the sponsored ads of their sites, so even if we try to combat this faux crap google is still going to place it all over the place in their ads
if the pirate bay cannot host files that link to items which infringe upon copyrights, then why is it okay for google to get paid to do it?
